ART FOR MARINE REGENERATION - Collaborative marine art and conservation project.

Art for Marine Regeneration is a collaborative and multidisciplinary project that aims to contribute to marine regeneration through art. A joint initiative between MedGardens, CLOT Magazine and ético , which arises thanks to the growing number of initiatives that try to raise awareness about environmental issues through art, especially in a contemporary context.

The AfMR platform carries out activations of different kinds such as events, talks, round tables, exhibitions, curating for companies, auctions or other cultural activities related to art and marine regeneration.

As an organising part of the project, at ético we took care of the conceptualisation and execution of the different actions as well as the communication strategy

The importance of communication to democratise knowledge ​

Communicating scientific projects is a real challenge. If they also have an artistic component, the challenge is twofold. We believe that communication should be accessible to everyone. In order to spread knowledge, the balance of accessible language and the introduction of new terms has to be present in the communication strategy.

The people involved in this project of marine regeneration through art are many. Therefore, it is important that we all know the milestones, the content and the times in which the communications will take place.

At ético, we created a communication strategy and created the storytelling of the project. We analysed the contribution of the project at an environmental and cultural level.

 

Environmental and social organisations must make known the importance of their existence for people and the planet. For this reason, carrying out an exercise to identify the key messages and creating a narrative to highlight the reason for the project is essential to connect with stakeholders.
