W2M – Corporate Sustainability and Sustainability Training

W2M is a global provider of tourism services belonging to the Iberostar Group. With a presence in 175 countries, it offers accommodation, transfers, excursions, circuits and handling services. Its main clients are tour operators, wholesalers, OTAs, bed banks and travel agencies.

At ético, we support them in the group’s sustainability strategy.

Sustainability is a cross-cutting aspect that affects all business areas and that, in the case of W2M, serves to influence the entire value chain.

One of the first actions of this project was a training plan for all the talents of the organisation to incorporate sustainability into day-to-day decision-making.

Team leaders as promotors of sustainability in their decisions

In order to carry out the roadmap that leads to sustainability, we trained W2M team leaders where we carried out group dynamics to incorporate the Sustainable Development Goals into business management. In this way and in a participatory manner, the leaders of each department proposed concrete actions to incorporate sustainability into the business.

Training and opening listening channels with all the talents, allows decisions to be made based on the nature of each business. No one knows better how to contribute through their work to create more sustainable and healthy environments than the talents of that organisation
